Sorry its been a while for a update but no news is good news. Friday night was the Tom Karrick Memorial Race and believe me it was rough!!!!!!!! After the rain we had on thurday the track was not needing any water but when I arrived they were watering it. We set the car up for tacky track and the setup was close. The start of the race there were dust bowls forming during Hot-Laps but as the nite wore on the moisture came to the surface and the track rutted up fast. We got 7th in the heat race and that put us in the B-Main with 4 cars transfering to the A-Feature. Matt drove the car the best that I have seen and held the 4th spot till the last lap and was passed by the 16 car with one chance to pass him in turn 3 and 4. Matt went under the 16 car going in to 3 and I thought he had him but in the end the 16 car got 4th putting us out of the show.......with a 5th place finish in the B-Main. The A feature started with 24 cars and finished with 8 so it was better to be in the trailer in one piece than damaged like the others. We had a blast and look forward to next friday.
